Zoom teeth whitening process should not be done at home, as a professional needs to exam your teeth first to see if they qualify to receive the Zoom teeth whitening process. This is because the process can cause damage to decaying teeth or teeth affected by severe gum disease.

Initially the dentist will do a general check up on your teeth to see of you are the right candidate for the Zoom Teeth Whitening. This is a very important step to ensure that there are no major issues which may stop you from having the procedure, we always recommend that you have 6 monthly examination and radiographs as a normal routine.

Your lips and gums will be covered with Vitamin E, this will help to protect them from the light source and the materials used in the whitening procedure.

A special devise is used to reflect the lips while having the procedure, and a second protective material is applied to your gums to cover them as wellThe Special Zoom Whitening gel will be applied to your teeth, there will be 3 cycles of 15 minutes application.

A blue light (zoom Whitespeed) is placed in front of the patient’s teeth; this is to activate the gel that whitens the teeth. Special eye protection glasses will be used all the time. The gel then penetrates through the teeth to remove the stains. The procedure will take just over an hour to complete and your all done. Your teeth are whiter and your smile is wider.

Pregnant, nursing mothers, patients with oversensitive teeth are advised to not undergo Zoom teeth Whitening procedure.
