Seamless Tooth Replacement for Confident Smiles

Unfortunately, when the remaining teeth condition is beyond any reasonable repair status, such as advanced periodontal disease (gum disease), or advanced tooth decay that is beyond restoration, and we are forced to lose the teeth and have them replaced with dentures.

At Albany Village Dental , we have a great team that can look after the whole process, and make such a complicated and difficult task much easier for our patients.

We can look after the teeth assessment and discuses all the available options, if a full arch (single side) or full mouth clearance was the option of choice, then we can provide a full treatment plan and look after the whole process.

Immediate dentures can be designed and fabricated, before any teeth are removed.

Once the immediate denture(s) are made , teeth will be removed in one day under full IV sedation , and the new denture placed in mouth at the same session , making such big change a seamless effect.

At Albany Village Dental, we have a team of Dental Technician who can design and fabricate the dentures, experienced dentist who can navigate through the surgery and overlook the treatment planning , as well as IV sedation team to look after the surgery care.

If you think you need the immediate.

As the names suggests “immediate dentures” are placed in your mouth immediately after extractions. The dentures will be made prior to the day of extraction so you will not be without teeth at any time. This is opted by those who are embarrassed to be seen without any teeth. Dentures made this way tend to be slightly larger than a delayed denture would be. This is because the dentures are made to sit on top of the gums and acts as a bandage to help aid healing. The denture that you are given is generally a temporary denture. A new permanent denture is likely, to improve the quality and aesthetics. However, if you are happy with the way the first ones are then a process called a reline or ‘refitting’ is needed to fill any gaps created from the gum shrinkage. This will help minimize food getting stuck, and thicken and strengthen, reducing the chances of the denture breaking from unsupported plastic constantly bending while chewing.
